Christmas is a wonderful time to give and show people in our lives how much we appreciate them.
Our daughter has severe food allergies (dairy, eggs, peanuts), so when it was time to put her in a preschool program, we needed to find a school that could accommodate her food allergies as well as providing a loving and learning environment. It was a scary decision for us as she has never been in any form of daycare. We decided to put her in a mother’s day out program in a local church that was dear to our heart. The school has been so wonderful and very accommodating of her allergies, from the office staff to her teachers. Our daughter adores her teachers.
So when Christmas rolled around, I wanted to show my appreciation for everything they did for us and our daughter. After some googling, I settled on making sugar scrubs for the office staff and baskets for her teachers. Sugar scrubs are wonderful, inexpensive, and easy to make.
